Today is National Day Day. 'HAPPY 41st BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE'......

I decided to bring my maid to see fireworks as a gratitude of taking good care of my dad all these while. I asked my maid if she have seen fireworks before, she said only once in Indonesia but its only white colour and little bit only.

After discussing with my sister, we decide to go together. We went Kallang River. We managed to reached around 4+. There were already thousand of people there sititng at the side of the river bank. Its was very very packed. Traffic polices were called in to control the congested traffics. Thank God, Bro in law managed to find a lot. Most of people were wearing reds. We managed to find a empty grass patch to lay our mats. Shortly after, my niece's friends slowly arrived. Jenn was the 1st to arrived, followed by Gabriel and two more friends who i dun know them. The fathers were chatting among themselves while mothers were chatting among themselves.

Soon, the helicoptors carrying a large singapore flag started flying passed us. All the people on the ground clapped and cheered. My maid was 'wow-ing' here and there. Then came the 3 airforce jet ( i dun know the right word for the plane lah cos me not from army or air force ...heehee). Followed by another 5 more jets. Again my maid was jumping up n down. Everyone was cheering. The atmostphere was so nice.

Then everyone at the Kallang River was waiting for the most important and the highlight of the picnic. There is none other than ' Fireworks'. The fireworks came in three sections. Of course the last one was the best.

The fireworks were displayed right before your face. We heard 'boom', everyone shouted and turned their heads to the point where the fireworks were displayed. Everyone shouted and clapped when the fireworks were displayed. My maid keep shouting 'wah' so nice mdm. So nice. Wah.....................(ah yoyo she hor)

Right after fireworks, everyone started to pack and go. Glad everyone enjoyed themselves.
